In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a dialogue took place discussing the development of business resilience through the implementation of compliance and effective management. The event organizers shared information about this discussion.

At the meeting, participants considered proposals for improving the regulatory framework in Central Asia and exchanged views on the importance of regular and structured interaction between business and government bodies in the context of compliance and good governance. Among the invited guests were representatives of the business community, government structures, civil society organizations, and international partners.

It was noted that compliance with regulatory requirements and responsible management are becoming increasingly significant for enhancing the competitiveness of the economy. Companies in Central Asia face the necessity of adhering to compliance principles, driven by the demands of international markets, participation in global supply chains, and attracting investments that require transparent and predictable internal norms.

Altynai Asanova, Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kyrgyzstan, emphasized the importance of open dialogue between the government and business on compliance and corporate governance issues. She believes that this is fundamental for strengthening the resilience of companies, increasing investor trust, and integrating the country into international markets.

Compliance, which translates from English as "conformity," represents a system of measures and procedures aimed at minimizing risks and adhering to established norms. These requirements can be both external—in the form of laws and regulations—and internal—corporate rules and standards.
