According to the court's press service, the discussion focused on ways to deepen interaction between the judicial system and universities, including the organization of internships for students in the court, as well as joint scientific events and experience exchange.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mederbek Satyiev, emphasized that for the effective functioning of the judicial system, not only lawyers are needed, but also specialists in areas such as information technology, cybersecurity, finance, and communications. Therefore, universities without law faculties were also invited to collaborate.
The main areas of cooperation include:
- organization of pre-diploma and production internships for students with mentorship from judges and staff;
- holding joint round tables, conferences, and expert discussions;
- exchange of methodological and analytical materials to update educational programs;
- professional development of teachers and participation of scholars in the programs of the Higher School of Justice.
Leaders of the National Academy of Sciences, as well as representatives from the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn, the Boris Yeltsin Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, the Issyk-Kul Technical University named after Iskhak Razakov, Osh State University, AUCA, and Manas University also participated in the event.
As a result of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on the development of long-term cooperation and proposed to organize a national scientific-practical conference in honor of Constitution Day with the participation of judges, scholars, and representatives of universities.
