The heads of the foreign ministries of the Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan discussed the Issyk-Kul - Almaty road and logistics centers
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a meeting took place between Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev and his Kazakh counterpart Ermek Kosherbaev. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

The main topics of discussion were the promotion of the construction of an industrial trade and logistics complex at the border, as well as the establishment of a wholesale distribution center in the Almaty region for the storage of agricultural products.

During the meeting, the issue of the alternative road project Issyk-Kul - Almaty was also raised, as well as the modernization of bridges and border crossing points on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border.

The parties reached an agreement on a deeper study of the potential in the field of agricultural and industrial cooperation.

In addition, the ministers expressed their intention to develop cooperation in the fields of education and medicine. Jeenbek Kulubaev invited Ermek Kosherbaev to attend the VI World Nomad Games, which will be held this year in Kyrgyzstan.

The diplomats also agreed on a schedule for mutual high-level visits for 2026 and confirmed their readiness for cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
