During a working trip to the Alay District, representatives of the presidential envoy's office in the Osh region visited the remote Pamir-Alai rural district. As part of the visit, a bridge opening ceremony was held, and new equipment was handed over.

At the ceremony in the village of Taldy-Suu, the regional leader presented the keys to four units of special equipment that were acquired on lease. The new equipment includes: a "Zoomlion RN1104" tractor, an "XCMG XE150WB" excavator, an "XCMG GR1905T" motor grader, and a specialized garbage truck.

This equipment will be used for road construction, repairs, land planning, as well as for carrying out infrastructure and communal works in the Pamir-Alai rural administration. The presidential envoy also familiarized himself with the technical condition of the machines and gave instructions for their targeted and long-term use.

On the same day, a new 54-meter bridge over the Kyzyl-Suu River in the village of Taldy-Suu was opened. The width of the bridge is 4 meters. The project was financed from the development fund and the local budget, with a total cost of 23 million 952 thousand 240 soms.

The Pamir-Alai rural district was established in 2024 as a result of administrative-territorial reform, with its center in the village of Sary-Tash.

This high-altitude region, with elevations reaching several thousand meters above sea level, is known for its picturesque valleys, pastures, the Kyzyl-Suu rivers, and snowy peaks. It is one of the most remote and sparsely populated areas, where local residents engage in livestock breeding and agriculture. Pamir-Alai is considered one of the most promising areas for infrastructure development in the country.

The region also attracts climbers (ascents to Lenin Peak), trekkers, and enthusiasts of ethno- and eco-tourism.
