In light of the deteriorating situation in the Middle East region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic urges citizens currently in the United Arab Emirates to remain calm and observe heightened safety precautions.
The Ministry recommends monitoring official communications from local authorities, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other relevant bodies, and relying only on verified information. The ministry also requests to avoid spreading unverified information.
Furthermore, the ministry reports that the UAE has decided to temporarily extend the possibility for citizens to stay in hotels without additional costs, as well as to prevent eviction in case of flight cancellations or rescheduling.
In this regard, Kyrgyz citizens are advised to remain in hotels while waiting for official instructions from the authorities and to maintain contact with the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic, tour operators, airlines, and hotel management.
In the event of an air raid alert or other emergencies, it is essential to strictly follow the instructions of law enforcement agencies and hotel staff.
Considering the "closed sky" regime in the UAE, land travel or passage through third countries is recommended only in extreme cases, while it is important to monitor official data from competent authorities.
To facilitate operational interaction and obtain current information about Kyrgyz citizens in the UAE, the ministry requests that individuals report their whereabouts to the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic, providing the following information:
- Full name;
- Date of birth;
- Passport number;
- Actual address in the UAE;
- Contact details.
