
The visit of the Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Taalaibek Ibraev, to the Issyk-Kul region included a tour of the Jyrgalan area, where he checked the progress of electrification works at the 'Ala-Tuu Resort' ski complex.
As part of the inspection, the minister visited the 35/10 kV 'Three Peaks' and 35/6 kV 'Jyrgalan' substations, and also familiarized himself with the condition of the electrical networks in the area.
Ibraev also inspected the construction of a new section of electrical networks in Jyrgalan, which will operate as part of the Ak-Suu RES. He instructed to consider the possibility of increasing the number of staff in this unit and promised to provide official transport for the needs of Ak-Suu RES.
In addition, the minister reviewed the ongoing construction works of the Jyrgalan HPP and received reports on the implementation of this project.
The work on improving the energy sector, commissioned by President Sadyr Japarov, is under Ibraev's control, who oversees the provision of projects with the necessary resources and equipment.
It is planned to construct a 47 km overhead line from the 110 kV 'Przhevalsk' substation to the new 110 kV 'Ala-Tuu Resort' substation. The design has been completed, the relevant contract has been signed, and the parameters of the route are currently being clarified while the locations for the installation of poles are being agreed upon. The line will pass through three ayil okmotu, and all necessary permits have been obtained, with negotiations continuing with local landowners and forestry.
A site has also been selected for the construction of a 110/35/10 kV substation, documents have been prepared, and the coordination process is ongoing. All projects are planned to be implemented within the established deadlines according to the schedule.
