Escalation in the Middle East. Kyrgyzstan officially supported Bahrain and Oman

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, held a telephone dialogue with Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain. This was reported by the press service of the foreign policy agency.

During the conversation, Kulubaev, representing President Sadyr Japarov, expressed support for the brotherly people of Bahrain against the backdrop of rising tensions in the Middle East region, which have affected its territory.

The parties expressed hope for a swift resolution of the conflict and the restoration of political and diplomatic dialogue, as well as for the adoption of concrete measures to achieve peace and stability in the area, the press service reported.

After this, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan contacted his colleague from Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, and conveyed a message from President Japarov, confirming Kyrgyzstan's official support for Bahrain and Oman amid the growing tensions in the region.

During the communication, security issues related to regional risks were discussed, and the importance of resuming political dialogue was raised.

In addition, during the conversation with the minister from Oman, logistics issues were addressed. Kyrgyzstan expressed gratitude to Muscat for the assistance provided in evacuating citizens of the country from the Persian Gulf states back to their homeland.
