In recognition of her many years of work in the field of women's rights protection, Bubusara Ryskulova was awarded a commemorative badge "For a Life Dedicated to Serving Society".

Bubusara Ryskulova, who founded the first crisis center and shelter for women in Kyrgyzstan over 30 years ago, became one of the first human rights defenders actively speaking out against domestic violence.

Thanks to her efforts, a network of crisis centers was established in the country, and public attention to issues of violence and women's protection significantly increased.

The award ceremony was also attended by Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. He emphasized that Bubusara Ryskulova's contribution has been a key element in the development of civil society and the promotion of women's rights in the country.
