In the Moscow district of the Chuy region, the construction of a dairy farm is beginning at the "Tashtan" farm, which will operate according to Swedish standards. This information was provided by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The farm is being created in accordance with the project of DeLaval, a global leader in dairy farming. The installed milking system in a "Christmas tree" format 2×14 allows servicing 28 cows simultaneously, while providing online monitoring of daily milk yield, the volume of milk at each milking, as well as the health and productivity status of the animals.
Currently, the import of 336 Holstein dairy cows is planned, of which about 30% will be young stock for replacement. In total, approximately 436 heads of livestock will be kept on the farm.
The farm is also equipped with modern ventilation and microclimate control systems that automatically regulate temperature and ventilation, creating comfortable conditions for the animals.
The milk production process is automated and uses environmentally friendly technologies. The manure removal system operates automatically, and the DeLaval separator divides the manure into liquid and solid fractions, allowing the liquid to be used for irrigation and fertilization, while the solid residues can be used as organic fertilizer. This creates conditions for waste-free production.
The Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Erlis Akunbekov, has already familiarized himself with the operations of the "Tashtan" breeding farm.
The main goal of this project is to achieve a production level of 25 tons (or 25,000 liters) of milk per day. It is expected that the farm will become an important element of the future dairy cluster, within which the launch of mini-production of yogurts and other dairy products is also planned.
