In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, law enforcement agencies are conducting a series of preventive measures aimed at ensuring the safety of youth. This was reported by the Main Internal Affairs Department of the city.

The department emphasizes that the police respect local and religious traditions, including the practice of reading the Quran during the holy month of Ramadan.

However, the police remind that according to the legislation of Kyrgyzstan, minors are prohibited from being in public places without the accompaniment of parents or legal guardians after 10:00 PM. This measure has been introduced to ensure the safety of children.

During raids, law enforcement officers record cases where teenagers are found late at night near residential buildings asking passersby for money or other rewards. Such actions can be regarded as begging, highlighting the need for preventive work.

The Main Internal Affairs Department states that these measures are not aimed at limiting traditions but are intended to protect the rights and safety of minors.

The police urge parents and legal guardians to pay attention to the whereabouts of their children in the evening and, if necessary, accompany them.
