
Luke Littler, representing England, claimed the title at his debut Poland Darts Open, defeating Gian van Veen from the Netherlands with a score of 8:4.
The 19-year-old world champion showcased impressive play, hitting seven maximums (180) and achieving an average score exceeding 108 points. This victory earned him £35,000 in prize money and marked his fifth title on the European Tour.
The final match was tense. In the fifth leg, van Veen achieved his first career nine-darter on air, taking the lead at 3:2. However, Littler quickly regained the initiative, winning six of the next seven legs and confidently finishing the match in his favor.
Thus, Littler made history as the first champion of the Polish leg of the European Tour and solidified his position among the leading dart players in the world.
