It is important to note that the 2026 World Cup is scheduled to take place from June 11 to July 19 and will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Ahmad Donyamali explained: “Due to the fact that the U.S. government killed our supreme leader, we cannot participate in the World Cup under the current conditions.”
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that seven female players from the Iranian national team, who previously sought asylum in Australia, were evacuated from a safe location. This occurred after one of them changed her decision, contacted the Iranian embassy, and reported the whereabouts of the others.
