Athlete from Kyrgyzstan Adis Orozmamatov won a gold medal at the European Open Judo Cup for youth held in Poland.

The competition took place on March 28 and 29 in Poznań.

Orozmamatov represented his country in the under 66 kg category, where 28 participants competed.

The Kyrgyzstani's performance began in the round of 16, where he achieved four consecutive victories and secured first place, bringing home the gold.

At the same tournament, Yegor Krivolapov also competed but, unfortunately, could not get past the first round and went home without a medal.

This medal is already Orozmamatov's fourth in 2026. In February, he won two bronze medals at the European Cup stages in Bulgaria and Bosnia, and in March, he triumphed at a tournament in Germany.
