Adis Orozmamatov won bronze at the European Cup in Bulgaria

Athlete from Kyrgyzstan, Adis Orozmamatov, successfully competed in an international judo tournament held in Bulgaria, winning a bronze medal.

The competitions within the framework of the European Open Cup took place in Sofia from January 31 to February 1.

Orozmamatov competed in the weight category up to 66 kg, where 46 participants competed.

He began his journey in the 1/16 finals, where he won against the Bulgarian Samuil Dimitrov. In the next round, the Kyrgyz athlete defeated the Ukrainian Vadim Chernov, but in the semifinals, he suffered a defeat from Stilyan Gushkov of Bulgaria.

In the match for third place, Orozmamatov faced Matthias Moru from France and managed to win, thus securing the bronze medal.
