The open European Cup competitions took place on February 7-8 in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Orozmamatov participated in the tournament in the weight category up to 66 kg, where 31 athletes competed.
In the first round, in the 1/16 finals, the Kyrgyzstani athlete won against Slovakian athlete Peter Weiss, then in the 1/8 finals he defeated Kaan Emirhan Esenboga from Turkey.
In the quarterfinals, the Kyrgyzstani faced David Zeynalov from Russia and, unfortunately, lost. However, he had the opportunity to continue fighting in the consolation tournament for bronze.
In the consolation round, Orozmamatov won against Aleksa Milosevic from Serbia, Roko Rozga from Croatia, and Jakub Kurowski from Poland, which allowed him to secure third place and the bronze award.
Not long ago, in early February, Adis also became a bronze medalist at the open European Cup in Bulgaria.
