Athlete from Kyrgyzstan Omar Livaza won a bronze medal at an international tournament taking place in Turkey.

The 34th Ahmet Cömert tournament is currently underway in Istanbul, and the semifinals took place here on April 2.

Livaza competed in the weight category up to 65 kg, starting from the 1/8 finals.

In this round, the Kyrgyzstani athlete secured two confident victories over opponents from Georgia and Turkey, which allowed him to advance to the semifinals.

In the match for a place in the finals, he faced a representative from Kazakhstan, losing to him and taking third place, which earned Livaza a bronze medal.
