At the "Kabar" agency, a presentation of the new multilingual online portal Nomad.kg took place, which is designed to serve as a modern digital guide to all corners of Kyrgyzstan. This resource has been developed for both local and foreign tourists, providing unique opportunities to explore the country in a new light.
Gamal Soronkulov, the project author and representative of "Destination Talas" and "Eco-Ayan," reported that work on the portal began in the summer of 2024 with the participation of an initiative group of activists and tourism specialists. "Nomad.kg collects information about natural and cultural attractions, museums, ethno-locations, agritourism farms, reserves, ancient settlements, and gastronomic routes. The platform includes photographs, videos, geolocation, historical references, and unique stories about each place in Kyrgyzstan," he added.
The developers emphasized that the project covers all regions of the country and aims to create a modern digital image of Kyrgyzstan as an attractive tourist destination.
Vlad Ushakov, a representative of the "Union of Photojournalists" and one of the project authors, noted that over 90% of the republic's territory consists of mountainous areas, which represent a unique combination of natural wealth, biodiversity, cultural heritage, and vast opportunities for tourism. "Nomad.kg will become the main 'digital window' into the world of Kyrgyz tourism, from the idea of a trip to a ready-made itinerary," he added.
Alexander Kobzev, a co-author of the project and representative of the "Tsur" Foundation, spoke about plans to create a mobile application that will allow users to plot routes even without internet access, making travel in Kyrgyzstan more convenient and safe.
The Nomad.kg portal combines informational completeness and interactive elements, creating a unique experience for tourists: from planning a trip to discovering lesser-known places in the country, including mountain trails, ethnic villages, national festivals, and gastronomic routes.
Thus, the launch of Nomad.kg provides Kyrgyzstan with a modern digital tool for promoting tourism, making the country more accessible, understandable, and attractive for all who wish to discover its natural wealth and cultural heritage.
