The deputies of the city council unanimously approved the proposal
At an extraordinary meeting of the Manas city council, a decision was made to change the status of the city, which was supported by all deputies.
As part of this initiative, it is proposed to grant the city the status of national significance.
Now this proposal will be formalized as a draft law and sent to the Jogorku Kenesh for further consideration.
Currently, there are only two cities in Kyrgyzstan with the status of national significance: Bishkek and Osh.
