During bilateral negotiations at “Yntymak Ordo,” Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that energy is one of the main areas of cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
The President of Russia arrived for an official visit to Kyrgyzstan the day before, where issues of economic interaction, trade, and future joint projects were discussed. As a result, several bilateral agreements were signed.
Putin noted that Russia fully meets Kyrgyzstan's needs for gasoline and diesel fuel on preferential terms, without the payment of export duties, which significantly impacts the country's economy.
The company “Gazprom” actively supplies natural gas to Kyrgyzstan and participates in the gasification program of various regions of the republic.
According to Putin, for these purposes, Russian enterprises have allocated more than 400 million dollars, which has already allowed for an increase in the level of gas supply in the country to 42%. Work in this direction will continue.
