The Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Tynchtyk Shainazarov, held a meeting on November 29 with representatives of the Turkic Parliamentary Assembly (TurkPA), who arrived in Kyrgyzstan to observe the upcoming parliamentary elections.

According to the press service of the CEC, Shainazarov emphasized that the preparation for the elections is being carried out in an atmosphere of openness and transparency. He also reported that 100 polling stations have been organized outside the country.

The head of the CEC noted that in Turkey, the number of polling stations has increased from 2 to 8, while in Kazakhstan, 7 stations are operational.

Abzal Kupsan, who heads the TurkPA delegation and is a member of the parliament of Kazakhstan, noted that Kyrgyzstan has become one of the first CIS countries to hold elections using modern technologies.

Osman Mesten, a member of the Turkish parliament and part of the delegation, added that since the establishment of the Organization of Turkic States, intergovernmental relations have significantly strengthened, and the level of mutual support has increased.

During the meeting, Tynchtyk Shainazarov demonstrated new equipment to the guests and answered all their questions.
