On November 27, a meeting took place in Aktau with the delegation of TURKPA, led by Bauyrzhan Datkaev, the Secretary of the Economic Cooperation Commission, and Zhanbyrbai Mataev, the Chairman of the Maslikhat of the Mangistau Region.
This meeting was part of the closing ceremony of the project "Aktau - Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2025," which was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan in collaboration with TURKSOY.
Zhanbyrbai Mataev, welcoming the delegation, emphasized the importance of TURKPA's participation in this event, which highlights the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic world and the significance of Aktau as a cultural center.
Bauyrzhan Datkaev thanked for the warm reception and spoke about the current initiatives of the Assembly. Plans for joint events were discussed, including the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress, scheduled to take place in Baku in 2026.
The negotiations were held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere.
Also participating in the discussion were Adilbek Daulbaev, head of the Maslikhat apparatus, deputy Abzal Marat, head of the regional youth policy department Mukash Oralbay, and Alasgar Agaev, an employee of the International Secretariat of TURKPA.
