Bishkek, 01.12.25. /Kabar/. As part of the VI World Nomad Games, a new cultural project called "Birimdik Kerbeni" will be launched in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the international secretariat of the World Nomad Games.
According to the organization, this project will cover all regions of the country, showcasing cultural diversity and promoting the idea of unity among the nation. "Birimdik Kerbeni" will actively involve the local population in the preparations for the VI World Nomad Games, allowing each region to contribute to this significant international event.
The implementation of the project includes the following stages:
By December 31, 2025, selection events will take place in each region of the republic, based on which the following will be determined:
- Batyrs — representatives from each region;
- Elchilers — outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of their regions;
- Sacred source — the most famous source in the region (lake, river, spring, etc.).
Additionally, starting from June 2026, ceremonies will be held in each region to fill local vessels (kökör) with water from sacred sources, as well as events honoring water. Upon completion of these ceremonies, the vessels will be installed in regional water storage facilities, open for local residents and tourists to visit.
3. By August 15, 2026, the Batyrs will deliver the regional vessels to Bishkek, where they will take their place in the main water storage facility, accessible for local residents and guests of the capital.
4. On August 31, 2026, the day of the opening of the VI World Nomad Games, the main Batyr, the Batyrs of the regions, and Elchilers will form a ceremonial caravan heading to the "Azattyk-Arena" stadium to participate in the ceremony.
During the opening, all collected vessels with water from various regions of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as water brought by delegations from participating countries, will be combined into one vessel, symbolizing unity, harmony, and mutual respect among peoples.
