ZHANEKOV Orozbek Jumabekovich
Architect. Born in 1955 in the village of Ak-Kuduk, Kochkor district, Naryn region of the Kyrgyz SSR. Graduated from the architectural faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute in 1978. Works as the head of the architectural group at the "FrunzeGorprom" institute.
Member of the Union of Architects of the USSR since 1981.
In 1978, after graduating from the institute, Janekov worked as an architect at the "FrunzeGorprom" institute. From the very first days of practical work, he became an active participant in the design and construction of several projects in the city of Frunze. In collaboration with Y. Ishenov and S. Sultanov, he created a 56-apartment residential building on Bokonbaeva Street in Frunze. Improved solutions were applied in the apartment layouts. The external appearance of the building is characterized by deep shadows from the protruding elements, powerful graphic lines of the balconies and loggias, and vertical ties on the projections, creating a memorable image for this house. Another well-known work involving O. Janekov is the building of the House of Communication in the city of Frunze. This is a spatially developed complex based on a system of three blocks, one of which is a vertical tower with chimes. All three blocks are united into a single, cohesive, plastically developed composition. Characteristic of the south, the entrance terrace, enclosed courtyard, large cornice overhangs, and rich sun protection plasticity create deep shadows, giving the entire complex a bright, unique appearance.
