According to the press service of the ministry, the meeting was dedicated to issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of vocational, technical, and tourism education, as well as technology exchange in accordance with the previously signed Joint Statement.
From Kyrgyzstan, the online meeting was attended by Deputy Ministers of Education Albert Makhmetkulov and Lira Samykbaeva, as well as the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Austria Nurzhan Shaildabekova. The Austrian side was represented by Dorothea Auer from the Austrian Agency for Economic Cooperation and Development, Michael Matiashitz from the Federal Ministry of Finance, as well as representatives from the Klessheim Tourism College and the Austrian Technology Corporation.
The agenda included issues related to the implementation of previously reached agreements, cooperation in the field of tourism infrastructure, and training specialists for railway transport, as well as practical aspects of creating a tourism school in the Issyk-Kul region.
Participants of the meeting discussed the organization of the educational process in the field of winter tourism and winter sports, the stages of preparing and developing infrastructure, including possible building renovations and the introduction of Austrian teaching methods based on the best international practices.
Dogdurkül Kendirbaeva emphasized the need for a detailed study of issues related to the establishment of a tourism school, as well as the importance of Austria's mentoring and methodological experience in this area.
The Austrian side expressed its readiness to provide practical and methodological support, including training educators and specialists, as well as assistance in creating an educational center based on modern models and technologies.
As a result of the discussion, the parties agreed on further cooperation and the development of a Plan for joint activities.
