According to the ministry's press service, the Minister of Natural Resources, Meder Mashiev, presented certificates and valuable prizes to the winners in the following categories:
- The Ak-Muz Ayil District of the At-Bashi region in Naryn Province received a certificate for the purchase of "Shumkar" brand automotive equipment;
- The city of Razakov in the Batken region was awarded a certificate for receiving a waste sorting line;
- The city of Orlovka in Chui Province was given an additional prize — a three-wheeled scooter.
During the event, partners who made significant contributions to the development of the environmental sector were also recognized.
The goal of the competition was to encourage local self-government bodies to improve the sanitary condition of settlements, raise the level of environmental culture among the population, and create an effective system for managing solid household waste, as reported in the agency's materials.
