He noted that since 2021, there have been restrictions on issuing licenses for the extraction of gold, copper, and silver.
“Additionally, we have suspended the licensing of coal deposits. Currently, the main focus is on auctions for non-metallic minerals, such as gypsum, limestone, and other construction materials,” the minister clarified.
Mashiev also mentioned that the licensing conditions are constantly improving, and efforts are being made to streamline processes in the industry.
“As you may have noticed, in recent years, there have been many unregulated licensees,” the minister added.
