At the second International Mining and Metallurgical Forum in Tajikistan, Meder Mashiev, the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic, is present. This information was disseminated by the ministry's press service.

According to the agency, significant deposits are located in Kyrgyzstan, such as Sandyk and Zardalek, with total reserves exceeding 400 million tons of aluminum raw materials. This creates excellent conditions for expanding cooperation with the Tajik mining and metallurgical industry.

Minister Mashiev proposed to consider the possibility of creating a unified cross-border production chain that would include the extraction of aluminum raw materials in Kyrgyzstan and the production of finished products in Tajikistan. He emphasized that such initiatives could serve as an example of successful industrial integration in the region, enhancing supply resilience and improving technological cooperation between the two countries. "Kyrgyzstan is ready to develop partnerships in the format of Kyrgyzstan — Tajikistan — international partners, combining efforts in extraction, processing, infrastructure, and the export of finished products," the minister added.
