The initial examination showed that the animal has no visible injuries, and its condition is assessed as satisfactory.
“Considering the potential stress, the animal will temporarily remain under the supervision of specialists. A more detailed examination is planned in the near future. If the results are positive, the snow leopard will be released back into the wild,” the statement notes.
The snow leopard came into contact with humans on the night of December 30, when it climbed onto the territory of a resident of the village of Boroldoy in the Kemin district. After that, it was captured and handed over to the staff of the Ministry of Natural Resources.
