In the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan and on the highways, avalanches and ice are expected until March 5.

According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there is a forecasted risk of snow avalanches and ice formation during the specified period.

Avalanches and ice may affect the following roads:

- Bishkek—Osh on sections 121-138 km (Töö-Ashuu Pass), 198-265 km (Chychkan Gorge, Ala-Bel Pass);

- Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alakuu at distances of 55-115 km;

- Ala-Buka—Kanysh-Kiya on the segment 45-112 km (Chapchyma Pass);

- Krasnaya-Gorka—Akhtash within 0-3 km;

- Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart on sections 292-305 km (Dolon Pass);

- Balıkchy—Kazaraman—Jalal-Abad at distances of 201-205 km, 260-290 km, and 326-349 km;

- Karakol—Enilchek on the segment 45-90 km (Chong-Ashuu Pass);

The Ministry of Emergency Situations emphasizes the importance of maintaining a safe distance of 500 meters between vehicles on roads under adverse weather conditions.
