On December 10, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic adopted Resolution No. 795, which introduces a new procedure for determining prices for services related to burial.
This regulation serves as a unified methodological guideline for forming tariffs for funeral services provided by specialized services and municipal enterprises engaged in funeral matters.
The regulation aims to ensure legal clarity and to organize tariff regulation for the following types of burial services:
– preparation of necessary documents for burial;
– delivery and provision of a coffin, shroud, and other necessary items;
– dressing of the body;
– transportation of the deceased to the cemetery or crematorium with the provision of ritual transport;
– conducting the burial (digging and filling the grave) or cremation with subsequent issuance of an urn for burial in a columbarium or on a wall of grief.
Control over the proper establishment and use of tariffs, as well as compliance with the new procedure, will be carried out by territorial divisions of the antimonopoly authority in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding the inspection of business entities.
This regulatory act will come into force ten days after its official publication.
