In the official statement, it is said: "The U.S. has commenced the implementation of sales of Venezuelan oil in the international market, which is aimed at benefiting both the United States and Venezuela, as well as our allies. We have engaged the world's largest traders and leading banks to support the financial aspects of these oil and petroleum product sales."
According to the statement, all proceeds from the sale of crude oil and petroleum products originating from Venezuela will first be directed to accounts in international banks under U.S. control.
