In 2026, the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic will continue to grow due to domestic demand, investments, and increased government spending. This forecast was presented by Bakyt Dubashov, a senior economist at the World Bank.

According to Dubashov, the main factor contributing to development will be internal stimulation. He noted that an increase in private consumption, higher investment volumes, and expansion of government expenditures are expected.

“We base our forecasts on the assumption that economic activity will be supported by internal factors. In the real sector, the main drivers of growth will be industry, construction, and services,” the economist added.

According to World Bank estimates, Kyrgyzstan's economy may grow by 6.5 percent in 2026, indicating a positive trend in the country's development.
