According to the forecast of the World Bank's senior economist in Kyrgyzstan, Bakyt Dushabov, the country's economy is expected to grow by 6.5% in 2026. He announced this at a press conference.

According to him, this positive trend will be driven by an increase in domestic demand, which, in turn, will result from growth in private consumption, investments, and government expenditures.

Dushabov added that growth in the real sector of the economy will be supported by the development of industry, the construction sector, and services.

In addition, in the updated forecast for 2025, the World Bank also anticipated economic growth in Kyrgyzstan at a level of 6.8%.
