The decrease in volatility in international markets and the tightening of monetary policy may contribute to a slowdown in inflation in Kyrgyzstan. This conclusion is drawn in the country's economic growth forecast for 2026-2028, prepared by the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD).

The document emphasizes that over the next three years, Kyrgyzstan will face continued inflationary pressure due to regular increases in electricity tariffs, as well as high prices for food products and fuel and lubricants.

Stable growth is also expected in the construction sector, which will be supported both by increased investment activity in industry and by the expansion of housing construction under the updated "My Home" program.

However, the EFSD warned that the contribution of trade to the economy will gradually decrease due to a decline in domestic and transit demand.
