Specific measures for the development of the textile industry are being worked out at the IEC

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with the relevant agencies, is developing initiatives for the textile industry that will be implemented in the future. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC).

These steps were initiated in accordance with the directive from President Sadyr Japarov, which was given after an extended meeting with representatives of the textile sector held at the "Yntymak Ordo" center.

At the meeting, chaired by Sadyr Japarov, entrepreneurs, wool processors, representatives from the Wildberries marketplace, as well as logistics companies and heads of relevant state bodies were present.

The President emphasized the importance of the textile industry for the social sphere, noting its role in providing jobs and stimulating economic growth, exports, and entrepreneurship.

During the discussion, current issues and proposals for their resolution were considered. Following the meeting, the president assigned specific tasks to ministries and state institutions for the prompt resolution of the identified issues. The implementation of these directives will be monitored by the head of state.

On the same day, a working meeting regarding the textile industry was held, chaired by Deputy Minister Benazir Nurlanova.

At this meeting, all raised issues and aspects of the textile industry were thoroughly examined, which the ministry is ready to address for joint implementation in cooperation with representatives of this sector.
