The World Bank called Kyrgyzstan's economic growth indicators impressive

Recently, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, met with Najy Benhassine, the regional director of the World Bank, who oversees Central Asian countries.

During the meeting, the current state of bilateral cooperation and prospects for its development were discussed. The participants addressed the implementation of key joint projects, budget support issues, and important legislative reforms.

Adylbek Kasymaliev thanked the World Bank for its contribution to the socio-economic reforms taking place in the country. He noted that Kyrgyzstan highly values the trust of this international financial institution and is ready for open cooperation to implement the best global practices in public finance management.

The parties also discussed in detail the plans for the current year and the medium-term prospects for joint work.

Najy Benhassine, for his part, congratulated the government on its achievements and noted that the current indicators of Kyrgyzstan's economic growth in the regional context are "very impressive".

The regional director praised the steps taken to improve fiscal policy and emphasized that the current reforms contribute to creating a positive economic environment.

"Sustainable growth means not only creating new jobs but also improving the living standards of citizens. You can count on the full support of the World Bank in all areas of mutual interest," added Najy Benhassine.
