According to information provided by the Chairman of the National Bank, Melis Turgunbaev, Kyrgyzstan's international reserves have reached over $10 billion.

Turgunbaev emphasized that this figure indicates significant progress: “We have entered the elite club of countries with developed economies, achieving a double-digit figure in gold and foreign exchange reserves.”

Moreover, he noted that this volume of reserves is twice the country's external debt, which provides reliable protection for the currency market against potential external shocks.
