A Business Forum on Strengthening Cooperation Between Central Asian Countries and the USA Will Be Held in Bishkek

On February 4 and 5, the second business forum "B5+1" will take place in Bishkek, as reported by the information support department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the statement, this high-level forum is organized in collaboration with the government of the Kyrgyz Republic and will provide a platform for dialogue between business representatives and authorities from Central Asia and the United States. The main goal of the event is to develop regional economic cooperation and improve interaction between the public and private sectors.

Key topics of the forum will include: agriculture, the financial sector, critical mineral resources, e-commerce, information technology, transportation and logistics, as well as tourism.

The press service also reminded that the first "B5+1" forum took place in March 2024 in Almaty, gathering over 250 participants and business representatives from ten countries.

The "B5+1" forum is a business counterpart to the diplomatic platform "C5+1," which unites five Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, along with the United States, the statement added.
