The business forum 'B5+1' has started in Bishkek.
The forum is organized by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) with the active participation of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. It symbolizes the transition of the "B5+1" format from one-off meetings to a more sustainable process of regional economic integration.

The forum attracted high-profile delegates from the governments of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and the USA, as well as representatives from international companies, financial institutions, and business associations. The main objective of the meeting is to strengthen public-private dialogue and expand investment cooperation. Discussion topics cover key areas such as transportation and logistics, agriculture, information technology, e-commerce, and the extraction of critical minerals.

As part of the forum's program, panel sessions are planned where regional working groups will present recommendations for reforming regulatory policies. Participants from the governments of the region are expected to outline specific steps for implementing initiatives aimed at stimulating innovation and economic growth. The "B5+1" format is the business equivalent of the diplomatic "C5+1" format and is implemented under the "Improving the Business Environment in Central Asia" (IBECA) program with the support of the U.S. Department of State.
