According to the ministry's press service, the main goal of this project is to develop a Kyrgyz-Russian and Russian-Kyrgyz dictionary of terms. This step is aimed at eliminating confusion and the multitude of variations in professional vocabulary. In fields such as agronomy, veterinary medicine, irrigation, and processing, where high precision is required, the lack of unified translation standards creates significant difficulties in preparing regulatory acts and official documents.
The meeting, attended by key figures in the country's agricultural science, was chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Zhanibek Kerimaliev. Among the participants was the director of the Kyrgyz Encyclopedia and Terminology Center under the National Commission on the State Language, T. Osmonaliev, as well as prominent scientists and specialists from relevant research institutes and the KNAU named after K.I. Skryabin.
As a result of the event, it was noted that the new dictionary will become an important resource not only for officials and lawyers but also for specialists working in the field, as well as for teachers and students of agricultural universities. The creation of a unified terminological database will allow all participants in the country's agricultural sector to communicate in a precise, modern, and professional language.
