The deadline for transitioning to a unified tax for those working abroad has been extended to March 1

For entrepreneurs conducting their activities outside of Kyrgyzstan

The State Tax Service has announced that the deadline for submitting applications to switch to a simplified taxation system based on a unified tax has been extended to March 1, 2026.

Previously, taxpayers planning to work abroad had to submit their documents by February 1. However, considering numerous requests, the deadline has been extended.

Additionally, the STS reminded that starting from January 1, 2026, these taxpayers will be required to apply the unified tax, which will be set at a rate of 0.1 percent. To do this, they need to contact the local tax authorities at their place of registration and submit the appropriate application.

The tax service strongly recommends that entrepreneurs timely arrange their transition to the special tax regime.
