The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and the Central Bank of Russia are actively discussing ways to simplify money transfers between the two countries. This was stated by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Bishkek, Sergey Vakunov.

According to the diplomat, creating a reliable financial structure that will ensure sustainable development of trade relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan is a top priority for both countries. Vakunov emphasized that the illegitimate financial and trade restrictions imposed by the West, affecting both Russian and Kyrgyz companies, only confirm the necessity of the steps being taken.

Sergey Vakunov noted that there is currently an active dialogue established between the financial regulators of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, within which various approaches to cooperation are being considered.
