According to him, the main factors are: a free currency regime, unique transit potential due to the railway project connecting China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, as well as outstanding tax benefits for technology companies.
“The first aspect to note is that Kyrgyzstan offers one of the most liberal currency regimes in the EAEU. The second point concerns the country’s transit potential. Kyrgyzstan has become an important transport and logistics center thanks to the implementation of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project, which has already attracted significant investments from China. The third factor is the tax benefits provided, for example, through the Central Asia Hub — an analogue of Russia's Skolkovo. The tax policy of the republic as a whole offers unprecedented advantages,” Sobin emphasized.
He also noted that these conditions have contributed to an increase in the influx of human capital and technology companies, which, in turn, has led to additional investments.
