From February 17 to 19, training seminars for farmers were organized in three districts of the Osh region: Kara-Suu, Nookat, and Kara-Kulja. These events were conducted by the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Pastures in collaboration with the KOPIA center, with the support of the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The aim of these seminars was to enhance the efficiency of the agro-industrial sector through the introduction of innovative technologies. The training program included both theoretical lectures and practical sessions, where farmers and specialists studied the scientific foundations of diet formulation and methods of balanced feeding. Special attention was paid to the quality of feed, which is a key factor in ensuring high productivity of animals.
A significant part of the training was dedicated to artificial insemination and its importance for improving the genetic potential of livestock. Participants learned about modern biotechnologies that can significantly enhance the competitiveness of farms and contribute to the sustainable development of animal husbandry in the southern part of the country.
These initiatives are aimed at strengthening the connection between the scientific community and the real sector. Experts emphasize that the regular updating of professional skills for rural entrepreneurs is an important step towards increasing the technological level of animal husbandry in the region.
