
Recently, a meeting of the Kyrgyz-British Business Council took place in London, attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev. This was reported by the press service of the republic's foreign ministry.
According to the press service, the event was also attended by the ministers of economy and finance, as well as representatives of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan. Delegates from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as representatives of government structures and large international companies, joined the discussion.
Kulubaev presented the participants with the socio-economic situation in the country, noting that in 2025, the gross domestic product grew by 11.1 percent, indicating a positive development trend.
The minister also emphasized the structural reforms, modernization of the economy, and improvement of the investment climate that contributed to such growth.
During his speech, he highlighted key areas for further cooperation with the United Kingdom, including:
- energy, transport, and logistics;
- information technology;
- agriculture and tourism development, including the construction of modern mountain resorts.
Kulubaev expressed Kyrgyzstan's readiness to be a reliable partner for British investors.


Representatives of British companies positively assessed Kyrgyzstan's economic results and noted the openness of the Kyrgyz side to dialogue. They expressed their readiness to recommend the republic as a promising destination for investments in international business circles.
