In the Chui region, specifically in the Panfilov district, the plant of OsOO "Tian Shan Trout" has opened, which is engaged in the production of fish feed. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
The construction of this plant started in May 2025. The total investment in the project amounted to 7 million dollars, of which 5 million were obtained in the form of a preferential loan from a state bank.
The enterprise has a production capacity that allows it to produce between 100 to 120 tons of feed daily. Currently, the plant is not operating at full capacity, producing only 30–40 tons of 12 different types of fish feed per day. The main focus is on trout feed, which is produced using technologies borrowed from Iran.
Ilgiz Shamenov, the founder of the enterprise, stated that there is a campaign of unjustified discrediting of their products, which, according to him, comes from competing companies supplying feed from abroad.
“We guarantee compensation in double size if the quality of our feed leads to fish deaths or losses for farmers,”

Shamenov added: “If, as claimed, the fish does not gain market weight, we are ready to compensate for the difference. This is just slander,” he emphasized.
The price for a kilogram of fish feed is 200 soms, while feed for fry is slightly more expensive. In comparison, imported feeds cost between 175 to 250 soms per kilogram.
The plant is located on a plot of about 7 hectares and, once operating at full capacity, will create between 100 to 120 permanent jobs.
