The Ministry noted that imports to Kyrgyzstan are carried out without significant difficulties, while exports face problems.
At a meeting of the relevant committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sultan Akhmatov stated Kyrgyzstan's readiness to defend its rights if Kazakhstan and Russia begin to violate the conditions of the EAEU and create obstacles.
In response to criticism from deputies raising the issue that the import of goods proceeds without significant difficulties, while exports encounter numerous barriers, Akhmatov mentioned traffic jams with freight vehicles at the Kazakh border.
According to him, such delays are a result of internal problems in the countries to which Kyrgyz goods are directed. He noted: "If Kazakhstan and Russia continue to create barriers and violate the requirements of the EAEU, we will be ready to defend our rights. We will prepare the necessary materials and send them to the Eurasian Economic Commission."
