As reported by the press service of the National Bank, this measure is aimed at improving the control and monitoring of currency operations in the banking sector.
In accordance with the new regulations, banks must ensure compliance with legislation related to combating the financing of criminal activities and the legalization of illegal income, paying special attention to cash transactions in rubles.
Daily reports on such transactions must be submitted to the National Bank no later than 11:00 AM the day after the transactions are completed.
The responsibility for meeting these requirements is placed on the management of commercial banks.
This initiative is aimed at enhancing the reliability and security of the country's banking system, as well as strengthening control over currency operations. The resolution comes into effect upon official publication and will remain in force until March 1, 2027.
