War in the Middle East: Fuel supplies in Kyrgyzstan will last for two months

The State Antimonopoly Agency clarified the situation in the market

According to the State Antimonopoly Agency, the market for fuel and lubricants in Kyrgyzstan remains stable, with reserves of petroleum products sufficient to meet domestic demand for the next two months.

Recently, the agency held negotiations with the main oil traders in the country, such as "RN-Kyrgyznefteprodukt," "Partner Oil," "Alpha Oil," and others, and confirmed that fuel supplies from Russia are proceeding as planned without delays.

The State Antimonopoly Agency urged traders to maintain current retail fuel prices, avoid sharp fluctuations in costs, and ensure the market to prevent shortages.

It should be noted that the ongoing military actions in the Middle East have led to an increase in fuel prices at the global level. Risks associated with fuel delivery and attacks from Iran on the energy infrastructure of neighboring countries, as well as on maritime vessels, have reduced transportation volumes. In particular, Russia has already announced the possibility of halting maritime gas supplies to Europe, and the Strait of Hormuz is effectively closed to vessels from Qatar, the UAE, Oman, and other countries.
