The increase in the company's revenue occurred due to the expansion of geological exploration work.
In 2025, the state enterprise "Kyrgyzgeology" achieved a revenue of 339 million soms. Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision Asel Raimkulova reported this at a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with issues of agricultural policy, water resources, subsoil use, and environmental protection.
According to her, during the specified period, the company's expenses amounted to 210 million soms, while the net profit was 116 million soms.
Raimkulova emphasized that "Kyrgyzgeology" acts as the main state operator in the field of geological exploration and the increase of the country's mineral resource base.
To strengthen the material and technical base, 1 billion soms was allocated from the state budget for 2024-2025. These funds allowed the acquisition of more than 50 units of modern geological equipment, which, in turn, enabled the expansion of geological exploration activities.
As a result of the work carried out in 2025 on licensed areas, forecast resources for a number of promising deposits were identified. Reports have been prepared to include new data in the state balance.
The deputy minister noted that by the end of 2026, a number of significant initiatives are planned to be implemented in the field of geology and subsoil use. The main directions include expanding geological research, identifying new promising areas, and assessing forecast resources.
Plans also include continuing the digitization of geological data, applying modern research methods, improving the qualifications of specialists, and expanding cooperation with international partners.
